Have any of you ever used a pound cake mix? I'm doing a tea pot cake & want to use a pound cake mix.

I thought of getting a lemon extract to add to them. What do you think? If so, would I just add a tsp? DUH!!! I guess any extract flavor would work. icon_redface.gif Sorry i'm typing as I think. Bad combo.

I have used pound cake mix as well, but is there a reason you WANT to use pound cake? You could do chocolate and just add more flour to the mix to make it more dense to hold your teapot together. That is what I do for most of my 3D stuff.

Good luck whatever you decide.

I don't know if my aunt likes chocolate cake. I wanted a dense cake that will not fall apart in transport. I will be driving across town; about 30-40 minutes to dekiver it. I'm also doing the tea cups.
