OK, I procrastinated much too long.
Time got away from me.
I want to have a cookie party if possible on Dec 5th for a few girlfriends.
Only, I didn't want to do a swap.
My friends are too busy to bake.
I thought about having them come over and decorate a gingerbread family to take home and keep or give away.
Or have them make little gingerbread houses. (actually graham cracker house. How hard to put the basic house together for them? That way they could just come over and decorate.)
or ANY other ideas???
I got to get on the ball!!!!!

You could have cookies on sticks and have them decorate and make cookie bouquets. I saw a great idea on the carol duvall show that she used stamps and and food coloring and stamped on fondant, colored it in with more food coloring and then glued them to cookies on sticks to make cookie bouquets. They looked so cute and something you could totally do for a cookie decorating party

Does anyone think decorating cupcakes would be a good idea for a party?
Is it too weird for a Christmas party?

Cupcakes is a good idea. Just have the right color icing and cute seasonal candies/decorations to add.

Cupcakesare a good iead or you could do small cakes like a 4" or a 6" I'm sure there will be a lot of imagination there....

Or you could have a naughty or nice gingerbread station, where they can decorate the cookies for there loved ones if they have been naughty or nice... Just thinkin here...
