where on the web is the best place to find patterns for cakes? I'm looking for kids cakes designs, namely for boys.

I am not quite sure what you are asking for for patterns... Are you just looking for ideas for cakes? or are you looking for a pattern for something in particular?
If you are looking for pictures of cakes for ideas then the galleries here on CC is a great place to start, there are a lot of cattegories in the galleries.

You could try Google Images, and type in cake designs if Cake Central doesn't offer enough of what you want.
