Can anybody tell me how to silk screen on a cake. I have seen it done on video, however, the instructor did not give any specific directions as to where to get the silk screen and if it is like a silk screen for shirts that can be washed out and reused with special chemicals. Please let me know how to do this. A couple of my cake decorating friends and myself are trying to learn new techniques and haveing a day of shring and hands on practice at my house soon.

Thank you

I want to try this too! I found directions on how to do this on a website some time ago. I can't find it now but I'll look when I get home. Sugarcraft and Kerekesequip carry silk screen but they are expensive. I did a search on Google on "how to make a silkscreen" and some things came up - take a look there!

I'm pretty sure that Godiva has done a silk screen on one of her cakes. Maybe she'll see this and let us know.
