Maybe the cake will be on a show all by itself and that's why no one can see it yet! lol!

Womens Day magazine here says the cake was made by Sweet Lady a bakery in West Hollywood. The wedding cake was matched to the flowers and was all white, there is a picture but I don't know whether it is actually there cake thumbs_up.gif

I personally don't care about their wedding, and like a lot of you, only want to see the cake!
But I also noticed from someone's post, the picture of Jaylo....she's definately not pregnant as some reported.
Just to throw another twist into this post!

As I said before I'm not 100% sure that is the cake but it was in the magazine as "The Cake" in an article about the wedding. There could be photographers licence and it may be what they think it is icon_wink.gificon_surprised.gif . Haven't the weekly magazines over there got picture of the wedding?

Yep, 5-tier

"In addition to the fireworks display, guests were treated to a private performance by Andrea Bocelli as they dined on specialties including artichokes, prosciutto, mozzarella, sea bass, steak and the five-tier white chocolate wedding cake."

But that DOES look like what I would expect from the rest of the photos. Hmmmm

"The Insider" just did another story on Tom and Katie's wedding tonight and showed the cake cutting. It was a five-tier...ivory, fondant (?) with big roses on the bottom border of each tier. Pretty, but nothing spectacular, IMO

I like some of the cakes that Sweet Lady Jane does but I think it could have been more of a WOW cake. For the money I am not impressed. I read that the Olson Twins have invested millions into this high profile bakery. They are famous for a triple berry cake featured on Food Network.

How many heating cores or flower nails do you think that bottom cake would take to bake icon_biggrin.gif ?? LOL

Just guessing, but 6-8-12-16-20 I think for sizes. The bottom looks too big for a 16, and the difference changes for the top tier it looks like.

Sorry, I've seen better cakes here and is it leaning?
Its ok and I would eat it,but a little overkill in the rose department. But thats just me.

Like some one said, only intrested in the cake not the circus.

It looks like it is leaning to me as well. I thought is was just my eyes playing tricks on me.

I thought it was leaning a bit and not centered completely. Also all the cake are beveled with the exception of the top tier?? Weird to me I guess?? I guess though if you have money!

Yours looks so much more beautiful than the one they have pictured! I think it was probably very expensive with shipping it and all. I mean they spent $500,000 on flowers! My guess is a lot higher!!

It always amazes me how dinky some cakes can be for huge celebrities.... and like those kids on the "Sweet 16" MTV show - sometimes their cakes look kinda crappy - if you're going to spend $100,000 or more on something - why go cheap with the cake?

The cake is nice - lovely actually, but danny I think yours is prettier! I just would want more of a "wow" factor......but that's just me and I love cake - to each his own! I didn't get to get married in a castle - we all choose to spend differently on different aspects of our wedding!

Lets see the cakes stat at $6.75 a person--I am sure they charge at least $10.00 a person plus shipping!

You know you guys are saying that the cake is leaning. I think it's the camera lens that they used to take the pic. Trying to get the whole thing in one frame. They probably needed a special lens or something.

I think I expected a lot more! Not really all that impressed. With all the build up for the wedding you would think it would be something to take your breath away!
