Any Of You Familiar With The Wilton Tilting Turntable?

I would love to hear feedback before I go out and buy one. Love it, hate it? Does the cake stay steady on it? I have to pipe scrolls on the side of a cake for the first time and was considering using one.
Michael's has a 50% off coupon this week, (which if you don't have one, they let you sign for one if you ask when you checkout). So, is it worth it?
I use a PME tilting turntable. It's a bit more expensive but it has a non slip top and is fabulous. The link is just to show you what I mean.

I actually love mine, use the tilt anytime I have to pipe the side of a cake. I only use the first notch tho, not the very extreme tilt because that feels dicey. Also, don't tilt the cake too quickly, try to hang onto it and ease it into the tilt, so you are less likely to send your cake flying down ![]()
Good to hear these things. What type of non-slip pad would you use for reinforcement?
I just bought one today and I was wondering if I would be sorry, thanks for the info. I feel better after reading the comments. The lady at Michaels told me I would not be sorry she just told me to make sure I locked it down. But I feel better getting advise from the other cc'ers.
Thank you so much for the info! Guess I have some shopping to do tomorrow.
Still would love to hear what anybody has to say about the subject.
