Ok, since my MMF adventure did not work out so well, I was told that Royal Icing will dry quickly and I can make flowers out of it rather easily. Mind you, I am a newbie at this and need a cake for tomorrow night. YIKES! Any help, directions, advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you don't already have a decorating book, there are several good tutorials for making royal icing flowers at wilton.com. Most of the flowers that are demonstrated in buttercream can also be made from royal. That will allow them to dry firm. Flowers made from buttercream can be made on a bit of waxed paper, using a flower nail, then frozen until you need them.
