After Today, I Am Adding To My Contract

Those of you in northeast Ohio can appreciate this especially.
I had to deliver a cake across town today, so I had to go thru downtown Cleveland. I had no idea that the Cleveland Indians and Browns (whose respective stadiums are downtown) BOTH had home games today!! Gettting thru traffic was a nightmare
Grrr... I think I will add a PIA delivery fee of $25 (on top of regular delivery charge) next time I have to deliver during a home game!
Sounds like a good idea!
One year, there was a basketball game downtown as soon as the Indy 500 was done! The traffic is a nightmare anyway on Indy 500 Day, let alone adding a basketball game to the mix.
I think you should just get a helicopter.
You're right - that's exactly what I need for when my limo breaks down!

I prefer my LearJet.
Hahaha

DianeLM, I laughed so hard when I read this. I think I even experienced a snot bubble or two, by the time I was done laughing. You have a great way of utilizing very few words, yet, making a humorous point.
Thanks for the after-midnight chuckle.
Sorry I didn't actually comment on the original post, I just happened to be thinking along the lines of DianeLM when she summed it up so eloquently. LOL

OMG! You guys are killing me!
Wow! I am taking one this Saturday up the Jersey shore coast - 2 hours north - but at least it's after Labor Day - I gotcha on the traffic issue.
Wish me luck

I aim to please.
I hate driving through downtown anyway but add the that the people after a game/concert it is a nightmare! It's kind of like the first snow, everyone forgets how to drive!
I think the fee would be VERY APPROPRIATE!
Tracy
I think I would have taken 480 - probably would have taken you out of your way - but you could have avoided the traffic.
Of course - then to be followed by an exciting game of "Dodge the construction barrels"!!
And soon the snow will be a-flying over the lake - causing all kinds of headaches.
Isn't NE Ohio traffic fun???
