I have run out of wilton icing bags...what is the best thing to use...something I may have around the house already???? HELP!
I'm making a cake for my grandmother's 90th b-day and she loves crossword puzzels soo i'm putting one on the cake w/all the families names on it and I need something that I can use w/or w/out my tips..(has to me a small thin line..... icon_smile.gif

You can use parchment or wax paper triangles. I've heard baggies too but they need to be sturdy.

what about a ziplock bag, nip off the corner and use w/ a coupler & tip.

In a pinch you can use Lg. plastic baggie's or freezer bags. Just fill part way with frosting .. and snip off a piece of the corner just large or small enough for the frosting to come through for the size lines you want to create Or you can use a clean food safe plastic squeeze bottle with a screw on top that has a point with small whole for frosting to come out. Hope this helps!

Parchemnt triangles would be the best- fold them and slide your tip in and your good to go.

I've used baggies in the past but they don't work as well as the parchment.
