When making 3d objects out of rice krispies and covering with fondant, how do you keep the texture of the rice krispies from showing through the fondant???
Thanks so much guys, I'd be lost without you!!! icon_redface.gif

i use a little less rice krispies than than the recipe calls for this way the marshmallow fill the spaces better and I really press them togehter when forming my shapes. Then this is done just cover with a thin layer of buttercream icing. Also, make sure the fondant is thick enough.

I cover in buttercream, not a lot, just enough to fill in all of the holes, kinda like a crumb coat you do on a cake.

I then let it crust and I roll my fondant a little thicker then I use as normal.
