I am going from Boston to NYC for Thanksgiving next week. I would like to take a cake with me as my gift to my aunt.
I was planning on making a bundt or pound cake since I know they travel very well. (It's a 4+ hour bus ride).
My cousin would like me to make a decorated cake to show off my talents, she thinks the family would love it.
Does anyone have any ideas for a simple BC design cake that could potentially travel well. I have 9" boxes so an 8" round cake would be ideal. Or a good way to pack the cake so the icing doesn't get ruined.
