Thinking About My Male Customers In Particular

Does anyone know of a book that has a collection of just some simple buttercream designs? I think I would like to be able to have a notebook of some simple designs for sheet and two layer cakes where I could have a set price marked on the cake. I'm thinking the guy customers in particular would probably prefer to have a few cakes to look at and pick from. I'm thinking that in my situation, I'm going to have quite a few customers looking for something at the lower end. People who want something a little nicer/more personal than WalMart and Piggly Wiggly, but not wanting to spend over $100 on a custom design. I'm looking for designs that could be piped in one to two hours, tops.
Hey Vickster,
Some of the old Wilton catalogs have some simpler cakes that would appropriate for men. I have found that the cakes men seem to like aren't too
"swirly" or flowery. Some of the piping patterns in the old wilton books are more scrolling and have some nice design motifs. Don't know if this helps, but there ya are!
i do a few simple designs for men....for hunters i do a camo cake, i just freehand airbrush the camo design on the cake and border and letter in safety orange.
i also do a fishing and golfing themed cake...both are figure piped so they are very fast.
i really should take some pics....i'm so dang busy i never do.
i love figure piping...i wonder if there are any websites about this?....things can be done really cute and fast!....there are some books about it.
