ok, i've looked at the instructions, but i have a question....do you just use a star tip? Cuz i'm wondering how you get it smooth.

I use tip #3 or #4. It is the same tip that you write with. After I fill in the area, I smooth it down with my finger when it has dried a bit. If you don't smooth it down, you will be able to see where the lines are.
I also use a tip 3 to fill mine in. I JUST saw this tutorial link on here earlier today, here it is if you want to try it out. I think it's an AWESOME tutorial!
