There are only certain printers that the edible inks are made for. Please check the link below to decide which is best for you.
I don't make many cakes so I bought the most inexpensive one, Epson Stylus C88 for under $60, it works for me.

I bought a cannon pixma IP6000D printer, and I purchase my ink from www.icingimages.com, I don't have the website address with me but I can post it when I get home. The printer was about $100 and I love it, haven't had any problems
IS IT WORTH IT TO HAVE THE SCANNER INCLUDED IN THE PRINTER??...i WAS LOOKING AT THE PIXMA..BUT THE WEBSITE I WAS LOOKING IT WAS TALKING ONLY ABOUT OLDER GENERATION OF CANNON...I WILL CHECK THIS WEBSITE....I DO HEAR INFO OF ALL IN ONE SCANNER AND PRINTER!
