Just some fondant and a 12" cake board. You won't do a lot of hands on stuff the first night, but you will learn to cover your cake board with fondant. Your instructor should show you how to cover a cake board and how to cover a cake with fondant, how to marble and color fondant and talk about storage etc. It will seem like not a lot going on, but the next 3 weeks will be a lot more.
