I had to share this story. A co-worker came over to ask me a couple questions about the town I live in yesterday, because her in-laws just bought a place in the next town over. So in the conversation, we ended up talking about some grocery stores and there is one high-end store around our workplace that she likes. I was saying that I wanted to go and see if they have vanilla beans there because I want to try making my own vanilla.
Well, she just called me (she is off in training today in a different building) and told me that last night she was in another store (TJ Max I think) and she saw that they had a bottle/vanilla beans.... everything basically in a kit to make vanilla... except the vodka I believe. So she bought it for me. What a coincidence!! I told her I would pay her for it, but she said no. So I will have to make her something soon to thank her.
A simple thing... but it was so nice - she just made my day!
