What is red velvet? Is it just a chocolate cake colored red or is it a different flavor?

It is a different flavor. They sell the cake boxes at any grocery store so you can see what it lookes like also if you can check it out online. Its really good not like anything I have ever tasted.

Red Velvet is a basic chocolate cake colored with red food coloring and usually iced in cream cheese topped with pecans. The recipes vary depending on the area you're from but this is the best way to describe it.
