I made the superman "s" symbol out of royal icing and I need to attach it somehow to MMF...any ideas? Could I use thinned royal? I have never done this before and don't want to mess it up! icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

PS - I hope that this is not a fairly new repeat question...I have looked and looked through the forums and did not see anything so hopefully someone can help!

Tia,

I usually use a little dab of buttercream to attach the plaque to the fondant. thumbs_up.gif

Paint the back of the royal iced piece with a damp (not dripping) paintbrush. The brush should be dipped in a white alcohol, eg vodka or bacardi and it will stick no problem.

You can use royal icing to attach to the fondant

I also use royal icing to attach plaques to fondant. Be careful if you use buttercream to attach it, as buttercream will break down royal icing.

Thanks, Cambo for the buttercream warning. I thought it was the humidity that was doing it.
