Your cakes are amazing! I'm impressed. I am in Ontario as well. kitchener to be exact. I'd love to know if you sell your cakes, and if so, do you have a business in your home? I'd like to get started with selling things but I'm not too sure how to go about it.....

AuntieM....there is a local General Store who advertises for me (they get a percentage)...and other than that I go by word of mouth. (private)
I do sell them from my home both ways...and am getting busier after about 1 & 1/2 years of doing it. I can count on about 2 a week right now...give or take some weeks.
I started by word of mouth...then I got a job at that General Store & they offered to advertise...I quit that job & they still advertise.
I try anything...if they ask me for it, I'll do my best to do it!
I started with one cake..then that person told another person...they love the icing.. (buttercream with real butter, shortening, & milk) and the word spreads. Just be patient. But also verbally tell people what you do...and you will start to get orders.

& KiddieKakes... lol, I saw you at the Canada site! (I mighta commented on a er, um, "cake" you did... heheheh)

& Beth....I have a fondness for ducks!!
