What Would You Pay For A Cake Mix???

In the WalMart here in Audubon, PA the DH cake mixes were 82 cents this past weekend. Daughters were there shopping and called me - said get 20/chocolate and yellow. DH in our ACME are $2.59 each, sometimes 10 for $10 and I stock up then also. I wish they would sell the cake mixes for less in other countries, but I guess it's the shipping charges??? You might try writing or 3-mailing DH, BC and Pillsbury to see if there is a way to get them cheaper, or have the stores do this - it might help.
Walmart here in Sacramento, CA is selling them for $0.78
But only Yellow and Devils Food Cake. ![]()
That is totally ridiculous! I cannot believe that anyone would bid or buy a common cakes mix on eBay! What is this world coming to? ![]()
We moved to India after spending six years in Singapore, where most products were available. In India, not much.
There are many many things my daughter misses like Kraft products, Lunchables, Famous Amos Cookies. For you guys in the US, they might be ordinary everyday things, but when you do not have access to them anymore, they take on a special meaning!
While I definitely won't be bidding on ebay for grocery items, I do get my sister from Boston to post me stuff, and I am seriously considering ordering from Amazon Grocery.
