What is the best way to add color to large quanties of MMF? Can you add it to the marshmallows after you melt them??? Please advise. Also, can I do a chocolate flavored MMF?? Thank you so much!

Yes, add the color to the melted marshmallows--much easier! thumbs_up.gif

As for the chocolate, I know people do, but I haven't. I would just assume substituting some of the sugar with cocoa powder.

Yes, just add the cocoa powder before you start adding the powdered sugar. Very yummy!

Okay this is really nice to know about adding the color to the fondant. I added color to it after it was already dried and man I got color all over me and it was so hard to do it. I don't have a good mixer. I'm so addicted to this website.

I added cocoa powder to my MMF once (prior to the sugar) and it turned out horrible and I have never had a problem making MMF prior to this. How much would you say to add? I know that I probably just messed it up with the ratio's but it was so disappointing, seeing as I left myself no time on the cake and I was out of mashmellows icon_cry.gif
