There is a recent post on this you may want to review:

I have the sugarcraft clay gun purchased at a hobby store and it works great for really small details - but it was too expensive for what it does. I needed something bigger so I just ordered the $19.90 one suggested in the above thread. I think for $20 the larger gun is worth the expense. Can't wait to get it!

I bought a little metal one...generic brand...looks like a large syringe. Came with a bunch of little forms. I use it all the time! Cost $16.00 at my bakery supply store. I absolutely love it! Not sure where else to find it. I almost bought a Play-Dough Fun Factory because I was having a hard time finding one but luckily someone ordered the clay gun from my supply store, they ordered it, it came in, and the lady never came to claim it. It was in the back for 6 months and when I asked if they had one, they just sold me that one! Lucky me!!!

Buy you a big one with a pump. The one I have is from SugarCraft. It's way worth the money! I got the syringe one 1st & it liked to have killed my hands. I bought the SugarCraft gun at the ICES convention & it's worth it! I love it!
