Some of you may remember me- I posted my Candy Corn cake and the Baby Shower Boy cake.

I now have finished my Superman cake and my very first MMF cake. I have a few cracks in it but I don't think it turned out all that bad.

The cake is Chocolate cake with a raspberry filling. Chocolate butter cream with MMF.

I plan to put a Gerber Daisy on top if I can find one with the right color.

Thanks,
Tracy

It looks wonderful!! I was going to try MMF this weekend. icon_smile.gif So did you use shortening instead of butter? I am confused about fondant because I found out that I botched my first fondant cake by putting it in the fridge. icon_confused.gif So when doing fondant, am I not supposed to use butter or ganache or fruit? what is safe?

Thanks!

Whenever I make a cake covered in fondant I use an icing and a filling that doesn't have to be refrigerated just to be safe.
