Hello all!
I was telling you all how I was SO sick all week and had this HUGE cake to make for today ( Saturday). I was sweating it out up until the last possible day I had to start working on this cake! It winds up I didn't have Strep. , but some kind of bacterial infection in my throat...I went on antibiotics, and 3 days later, I got to start my cake, and I was feeling MUCH better! I STILL took precautions, and wore a mask & gloves so I wouldn't spready any possible germs. It took me a LOT longer to make this huge cake,than I thought it would and I'm quite proud of it! It is not my design ( the customer saw it on the web and I did my best to copy it...hope I did it justice!) She hasn't seen it yet, as I haven't delivered it yet. It is fondant, and the bottom is 3 layers of a 12" chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream filling. The middle tier is yellow cake with a mocha buttercream filling, and the top tier is the same flavor as the bottom tier.
