I'm making cookies for later this evening and considering making Antoinia's icing. How long does take for them to dry before I can package them?

Anyone?

I wait at least 12 hours, preferably 24.

Edited to fix spelling and add that this is for the base icing. I leave details on top of that for 2-4 hours before packaging.

Ditto to that. Rushing it could trap moisture in the packaging and cause the colors to bleed or the design to squish. Beauty takes time!
