I'm making Cake Balls for the first time today. Do these flavors sound like they'll mix well?

Butter recipe Golden cake
Pumpkin Spice Creamer
Milk Chocolate coating

I could sub Milk for Creamer.

Thanks!
Dana

I am not sure if pumpkin and chocolate go together, never tried it...but you never know till you try. I just know that the Butter recipe cake is my favoritr flavor by far and would be awesome with chocolate!

I think it would be good with a white chocolate coating.

Pumpkin and chocolate go GREAT together!! I just baked a batch of my family's favorite muffins for tomorrow's breakfast: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip.

I'm hoping these turn out good enough to take to a dinner tonight, and one of my friend's there does not like white choc, that's why I'm going with Milk Choc. I don't think I'll be using enough creamer to actually make a big impact, but I've never made CB, so what do ya think?

I just made some this past weekend with yellow cake and Pumpkin Spice creamer. I did about half of them completely covered in chocolate and the rest just drizzled. They were both good but I preferred the drizzled as it was less chocolate and you could taste the pumpkin more.

Well, that pretty much decides it for me! I will probably cover them all in choc, since I really don't want a lot of pumpkin flavor. That's just all the liquid creamer I had, and I didn't want to go to the store!

I had the STRANGEST thing happen with my last batch of cake balls. I used pumpkin cake, the pumpkin spice coffee creamer, pecans, and covered them in white chocolate last Sunday. Sunday I tried one and they were to die for!! I tried another one Wednesday (when I started packaging them up) and they had COMPLETELY lost ALL of their taste. Even the chocolate!! They were in an airtight container that I have always used for cake balls. So strange!!

Pumpkin spice creamer, sounds good I'll have to try that. Is that Butter cake recipe on cc website?

Well, I'm sure it will work with a scratch or cake mix.

Can't hurt to try! Or maybe it can - those tight pants can be a bit of a pain! icon_rolleyes.gificon_redface.gificon_wink.gif
