GOOD EVENING EVERYBODY,
I hope everybody is having a great evening, I really need some help and this may seem like a silly question however I need to ask icon_redface.gif I have to make a skateboard cake tonight ,I made my 9x13 retangular pan cake and then poured my batter into my round pan which I thought was a 9inch however it is only an 8 inch round do you guys think I can use it anyway? as all of the skateboards cakes I have seen call for a 9x13 and a 9 inch round.I think I will be able to carve it to fit but I thought I would turn to the experts for advise icon_biggrin.gif thanks guys

I haven't seen the instructions you are using but i wouldn't think an inch would make that much difference!

chill or freeze your cakes before you trim/carve them so it will be easier and not as many crumbs - or just add extra frosting to make it look even so you dont have to do any extra carving of the cake
