67 Views And Only 1 Comment Is It That Bad?

Gee I dont usually get bothered if my cakes dont get bunches of comments but with 67 views and only 1 comment about this cake I am kinda worried that it is pretty bad. I didnt get a call from the customer weather she liked it or not so I was just wondering if it is bad???????
It's adorable! I can relate to your worrying; I just had one this weekend that got lack-luster comments (in person).
Also w/ the comments here on CC, sometimes it's just that people are having a hard time actually getting the pic to come all the way up or for the comments to load ( I know I do at times and then I just give up). I hadn't actually gotten to see yours before now. When did you up-load it? 
I really like this cake! But one problem I've been having is that sometimes as soon as I click in the comment box, i get some sort of error message. (not from CC, it's from windows) so maybe there's some sort of bug. Bot don't worry! It's very pretty!

It is absolutely beautiful...don't worry about the lack of comments there are lots of beautiful on here that don't get very many comments.

I posted what I thought was a really cute cake I was pretty proud of Saturday and I got one mercy comment on Sunday. 
The downside to posting on a weekend I guess. They don't stay on the front page but for a few minutes before they're replaced with newer postings.

i think your cake is pretty & looks VERY time consuming to me (but i'm slow at everything)
i've thought the same thing before about the comments, so i guess u & me together shouldn't worry, i guess people r so busy these days (or that's what i'm going to keep telling myself)
I too think this cake is VERY well done!!! I feel your pain on the comments! One of mine has had over 100 views, 5 people liked it enough to save it to their favorites but only one liked it enough to comment?!?! I for one leave comments all the time and if I do save it to favorites, I am SURE to leave a great comment! I think it's common courtesy.

The cake is cute and as for the customer surely no news is good news
As for commenting on the photos.....mine got very few comments so I seldom post them. I know that, personally, I have a very hard time getting to the photos and to the comments. I also never get notices of threads I am watching or comments that I have gotten. I just gave up looking at the photos and hope that someday all the bugs will be worked out on here.

I can tell you as a gallery supporter I comment on photos daily. I try to comment on as many as I have time for. I am sorry if your cakes don't get the comments that they deserve, but that does not mean it's a reflection on your cake. There are many many cakes that get uploaded to this site daily. Sometimes there are more than we can keep up with. Especially on the weekends. So unfortunately your cake might have been one of those that has gotten overlooked.
Thanks for posting that link Sweetness, yes we all get disappointed if our pictures don't get a ton of comments, however, few comments does NOT equal bad cake. Some times for posting are busier than others, some people look but don't comment, a whole host of reasons. I try to make it a point of commenting if I save to favourites and I became a Gallery Supporter Member because I think it's a great idea every cake should get at least one comment! I've come to take the number of favourites my pics get whether comments or not are a form of flattery in themselves. Someone was inspired by your cake and wants to look at it again.
The most important thing is to fill in the key words because personally when I need something particular I'll go to the search function and type in search words, I see a lot of new cakes that way too and I'll comment on them when I can.
Don't be discouraged and if you need some specific feedback start a thread pointing people to the picture and the type of feedback you're after.

It usually isnt a bad sign if you don't hear from the customer. So I wouldnt worry about that at all!

A lot of you guys seem to all have cakes that you wish had gotten more comments...so I decided that I should restart a thread by Merissa it's called "Your undernoticed cakes...link here!" I got at least another 4 or 5 comments per cake although on my best cake which had only one comment to start I got 12 comments. So link your cakes and lets hope my version of Merissa's thread will be just as successful as hers.

I get the same error message when I try to comment. I have to type a letter, then click "yes" on the message box for every stroke I make. Very annoying so I get frustrated and don't comment much. Sorry...it really is a lovely cake, your swags are so even.
well, I think the cake looks good. Your borders are great, the swags are great, the flowers are pretty. I think the picture quality isn't as great, not enough natural light or something? but the cake itself is very nice.
I didn't realize that this weekend was any different in how many comments people were getting...I uploaded a wedding cake and it's been one of my favorite cakes so far and it got pretty good attention but maybe could have had more views/comments/favs, I dunno...

your cake is pretty. i seldom comment. i feel silly to keep saying the same thing. wow! great cake! awesome. some people have a knack to writing i don't. i love to look at the cakes that are posted on cc and wish that one day i can make mine look as good. btw, all your cakes are pretty.
