I LOVE IT! I've read where others have used it and provided rave reviews, so I picked up a pail of it at Sugarcraft today and it truly tastes just like white chocolate and melts in your mouth! I'm so happy to have another fondant alternative! If you haven't tried it....you MUST!

Thanks for the info. I've been wondering about that product. BTW must be nice to live near sugarcraft. I wish I had one near me! I have to depend in the internet for just about all of my supplies! icon_sad.gificon_cry.gif

Yes, it's nice to be within driving distance of such a great supply store! They're about 40 minutes from me, so I make a trip every 6 weeks or so! I had researched the product before going and saw the recipe posted on their site, and I asked the lady about it when I got there. She said she's made it before, and it tastes ok, but nowhere near as good as the kind they sell, so thought it was worth a try! There was also another customer there that overheard us and she agreed that it was not the same! I'm still in disbelief about how good it tastes!

I'm convinced! Gonna add it to my gotta get it list!. Plus making fondant (except for mmf) sounds like a lot of work! I'd rather spend that time on the decorating!icon_lol.gif

I am eager to try it. I drove 60 miles to my cake shop to see if they carried that and the Satin Ice. I liked to fell out of my skin when they were selling 2 lbs of Satin Ice for $26.00. Holy Molly... I was so distraut I didn't even check the price on the choco pan.
Thanks for the info.

I've used it and yes it does have a wonderful taste. I could eat it straight out of the bucket. However, I found it to be hard to work with as it melts in your hands and stretches so easy.

I found mixing it with some regular fondant works best. Gives it a great taste and easy to work with.

Why is it that anything that is good tasting, makes your life easier, or is healthy (not that Chocopan is healthy, unless you coun't not having to make fondant healthy) costs an arm an a leg?

I gues I am just going to have to stick to the rolled buttercream mixed with the home made fondant. I will probably end up with arthritis. Oh well.

Oh wow, no it's not funny...haha, but it is funny sad... My Mother has arthritis in her hands and she has trouble sewing now. It's not something I look forward to...
