I have never used IMBC so I can't give you an answer. My suggestion though, if no one else can give you an answer, is to try it out and see. Pipe a simple heart or other design on some wax paper (parchment or plastic wrap work to) and stick it in the freezer.

You will want to see if it gets hard, and if it will release from the backing. If it does, it should work for the FBCT.

I have been wanting to make some IMBC. If this is your favorite icing, I would try it out on 3 different mediums, like parchement, plastic wrap and alumnium foil. Just to see which one works best.

Just make a simple form like a baloon or some shaped and see what happens.

Good Luck
