I am doing an inpromptu cake today for one of my DH's staff's wife. He said she likes Sweet Peas. But all of the Frosting sweet peas I've found I Can't tell what they really look like. Does anyone have any Ideas for a design for this cake. Or any inspirational Pics. I was thinking a Bouquet of roses and rosebuds with Sweet Peas wisping out of the top.
Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've never designed a floral cake but I like your thinking, the roses w/the sweet peas. Here's some pics of sweet peas from the internet - http://www.reneesgarden.com/seeds/seeds-hm/flowersSP.htm I've seen some neat cakes where the flowers are just sparingly applied to a nice, smooth white cake, growing up the sides from the board, painted on the sides...etc. Good luck, I can't imagine doing a cake like this in a pinch but I am sure you will pull of something lovely!
Thank You I finished and delivered the cake by 6:00p.m. I did a few roses at the botton and had a vine going up the side W. rose buds and sweet peas(which i did find at wilton.) It's will be in my pics shortly.
