I love the looks of a cookie bouquet and would love to make some for a craft and bake sale this weekend but have never done this. I plan on using small clay pots so do I just put a styrofoam ball in the pot to stick the sticks into? Can I use popsicle sticks? If I use the white sucker sticks do I insert them in the cookie before I bake the cookie. I'm sure I'll have more questions so if anyone could please let me know their steps to making a cookie bouquet it would be appreciated. Thanks.
That 1st website that Danielle gave the address for is awesome!! I'm going back now to look all through it! Very good!! Thanks for telling us about it Danielle!
Cookie bouquets, yeah so much fun!!!
I insert my sticks into the cookie about 1 minute after it has come out of the oven, strait through the bottom, and evenly to the tip of the cookie, without it poking through. After decorating then and letting them the frosting set, I take a tin, place marbles or decrotive rocks in the bottom, and then cut and form one of those green foam, for fake flowers into the pot, making sure it is very snug! I also use wooden bbq sticks for the cookies! Have fun with it, and don't get frustrating, once you figure it out, you will love the outcome. I also use tissue paper in between the cookies to make the bouquet look fuller!
