How many days in advance can I make a cake covered in fondant and it still stay fresh without refrigerating. I plan on using non-perishable filling. I am making my first real wedding cake (for my brother-in-law) and would like to start one of the tiers on the Tuesday with the wedding on the Saturday. Is this too far in advance?
