After much deliberation as to whether or not to attempt fondant, I just dove right in
I used MMF and made sure that I gave it 3 days to dry
This was for a cake decorating contest at work and although the animals went smoothly, my barn roof fell off and shattered into about 30 million pieces...and I was out of frosting AND powdered sugar...so I scrapped the barn..lol....but the animals were ok...let me know what you think...I'm sorry the pictures are not of the best quality ![]()

I think they look wonderful!! I would've NEVER known it was your first time if you hadn't said anything.
Um..maybe you did this...or maybe you already know, but if you mix 1/2 gumpaste and 1/2 fondant, it makes it a lot stronger...something I learned the hard way!! I ended up having to glue cardboard to my doghouse sides to reinforce it! LOL.. I dont mean to offend you if you already know about it... Sorry if I did, was not intended at all!!!
I can't believe these are your first fondant figures - I LOVE them! They are adorable! ![]()
