Hi everyone!
Ive been reading around here for a while, totally inspired by all of your works. I decided today to do my first "real" cake. Where it is actually something...not just you know, frosting slapped on a cake or cupcakes. I was gonna make this for my boyfriends birthday next month since he lives off burgers, so this is kind of the trial run.

This was so fun to do, me and mum had a blast. I cant wait to do another one now hehe. Critiques and comments are welcome icon_smile.gif Thanks you guys!

Ok, I don't beleive that this is your first cake!!! No way! No how!!! LOL!!

Really, it's your first real cake?!?!?!

As for critiquing, etc.....I think the only thing I see is that the sides of the "bun" isn't completely smooth, but maybe that's the look you were going for. Anyways, smoothing is just something learnt with practice. And, I think you are definitely off to a good start!!!!

I see a ton of potential!! I'm sure your bf will love the cake you make for him! Good Luck!!!

Thank you! I got the idea from this kinda upscale bakery near me... They sell the burger cakes for like $37ish each i believe, so instead of paying that i figured id do it myself.

Your dog is so adorable btw. awww.
