hello everyone....I am looking for a recipe for a wedding cake.my soon to be husband wants Bavarian cream filling and white cake any good ones out there that will support the weight of being tiered???

There is also a site called www.recipezaar.com . They have a sour cream almond white cake recipe you can search for that is supposed to be a great white wedding cake. I am actually trying that this week end. Recipe makes a big cake. Sounds yummy too
thanks the recipe does sound yummy I am gonna do a cake run next weekend to try it out for myself.....

The White Almond Sour Cream Cake is delicious. I used it for my sister's wedding cake and everyone raved about it. I love it. I've also used that recipe to make a chocolate version, a lemon version, and a yellow version. Yum.
The chocolate cake is pretty much the same recipe. You use chocolate cake mixes and 6 whole eggs. That's about the only difference. Peppermint flavoring is good in place of the almond. It is a very moist cake. Enjoy! ![]()
