hello everyone....I am looking for a recipe for a wedding cake.my soon to be husband wants Bavarian cream filling and white cake any good ones out there that will support the weight of being tiered???

there are several good recipes on this site.

There is also a site called www.recipezaar.com . They have a sour cream almond white cake recipe you can search for that is supposed to be a great white wedding cake. I am actually trying that this week end. Recipe makes a big cake. Sounds yummy too

thanks JanH I am going to try the sour cream almond cake with the bavarian creme will let ya know next week how it went.....

The White Almond Sour Cream Cake is delicious. I used it for my sister's wedding cake and everyone raved about it. I love it. I've also used that recipe to make a chocolate version, a lemon version, and a yellow version. Yum.

The chocolate cake is pretty much the same recipe. You use chocolate cake mixes and 6 whole eggs. That's about the only difference. Peppermint flavoring is good in place of the almond. It is a very moist cake. Enjoy! icon_biggrin.gif
