Yes - I had to start completely over the next night.

Have you ever decorated solely by natural light at dusk because the electricity was out?

Have you ever been "sick" because you didn't want to do a cake? (Or because you were volunteered to do it FREE?)

Not exactly - but I made one with the only contact being through my sister. Luckily, she was anything but a Bridezilla, and the cake turned out just as she hoped.

Have you ever overwet bake even strips or towelling to the point that the cake didn't bake properly?

Not with cakes, but my cat steals muffins and rolls during the night! She is locked away for cakes, but didn't even think about it with breakfast muffins. Didn't even hit the table, flying leap and snatched it in midair!

Have you ever ran out of energy and used a paper printout??? (family, of course! not customer)

Have you ever wished that you were in the bed instead of decorating the cake?

Yep - that's why we used paper once. SIL2B decided at the last minute to start a very detailed cake. I said I would help, but I had another cake to do. At 4 am (party at 10am) she gave up, so we added the paper fish instead of painting it. No pics, thank god!

Have you ever - used cake as a bribe?
