Yes, I made a pumpkin recently for my cousin's kid's birthday. It's a lot harder to ice a 3D round cake than i thought it would be! (I'm new at this) I thought it was a sloppy mess. Everyone else said it was cute. Either I'm too hard on myself or they were just being polite!

YES!!!!!!!! I actually gave a recipe book my sister made for me, our mom, and our Grandmother, to my MIL and she has never even looked through it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello, I would have given it to my best friend of 23 years had I known my MIL wasn't going to even open it! 
She won't give it back either because "You gave it to me!"

Yes - for my stepson at our house! Luckily, I had some leftover long skinny cake candles that I was able to use - I put 2 for his 11th b-day.

Yep! I've lost LOTS of recipes (box opened in move) and had to find something that sounded kinda the same.
