Can anyone recommend a good book to learn how to make gumpaste flowers? I want to try making them, but I don't know where to start. I am looking for a good book to learn the basics of flower making. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Try Decorative Sugar flowers for cakes by Mary Ford and also Sugar flowers by Nicolas Lodge. I bought both mine on ebay.

Nicholas Losge also has a little flower booklet that I like a lot, lots of color photos, instructions and some patterns for 16 different gumpaste flowers. It is called "A Potpourri of flowers" and sells for about $15.00.

those books metioned are good books. you can also try books 1 2 and 3 of international school of sugar craft. lots of techniques in those not just flowers.

a note from me .....the thinner the better....when rolling your gumpaste....the thinner the better...your flowers will look more realistic that way....i still dont roll mine thin enough...go figure.
