i'm doing a wedding in the fall 4 tier
6, 8 , 10 and 12
do you guys stack and then drive there or drive them seperate then stack them when you get there???
its a pretty basic cake, only a shell border i would have to do when i got there around the base of each cake
transporting more than two tiers is to scary for me. I have done 3 once and bit my nails the whole way.
if you do end up not beiong able to transport it seperate make sure you center dowel it
I stack when I get to the site too,it just feels safer.I did a t tier stacked caked but my sister held it on her lap(very heavy) with her dear life and I drove like a turtle
one time I tried sharpening a dowel and used a hammer to get it throuhg the cakes,BUT it cracked my cake,So I haven't mastered this techniqe(spelling
)yet.whatever puts your mind at ease is what you have to do wheather its crazy are not.
