Below is a filling recipe that I use all the time in many different flavors. It is a favorite of everyone I know. I have a request for this type of filling but in strawberry, however there is not a strawberry flavored pudding mix. Could I mix in strawberry flavored gelatine?? Would this work?

My Filling Recipe:

1 cup heavey whipping cream
1/3 cup sugar
1 package instant pudding

Mix heavey whipping cream and sugar on high until thick. Fold in dry pudding mix. Refrigerate until thick.
Good with any flavor pudding!

I don't think you could use gelatine because it isn't the same as pudding. It wouldn't set the same way. Couldn't you just add some strawberry flavoring or maybe strawberry filling to this recipe? Good Luck~

question about the recipe, do you mix until the cream is like whipped cream or just really thick?

why dont you add pureed strawberries to the whipped cream? very yummy....

I don't know if it would mix in smoothly if you mixed it with vanilla pudding (meaning no granules), but what about some Nestle's Strawberry flavored Quik? It might give you the taste you're looking for, I don't know. Good Luck.
