it's that time again... any suggestions for the November theme???

Well the obvious choice would be autum/thanksgiving but so many have already made those cookies so how about something entirely unrelated?

-Chocolate of any sort
-Animals
-Historical Figures
-Exotic Plants (just throwing it out there)
-Football/Sports

That's all for now. Having a brainfart or creative lapse rather.

-Support the Troops
-Snow Play

I'm so excited I may actually get to submit some for October lol every month I check out the cookies and they're so beautiful and intimidating......I just made a cookie cutter today for a dracula cookie like the ones on rollingpin productions.....(don't know if I can do it though) they're pretty detailed, hopefully they'll turn out and I can post them for October's cookies yay!!


Oh I just had another idea for the cookies.......since november is the month for thanksgiving.....how about cookies that show what people are thankful for......could be cookies with their kids on them or a kitchenaid ...or whatever everyone is thankful for! That could pretty much open it up to almost anything or at least almost any interpretation.

I like the football/sports suggestion. Of course, anything related to Thanksgiving is appropriate.

How about cookie bouquets, since we are starting christmas cookies? Or cookie cakes? Veterans' Day is Nov 11, how about a patriotic theme?

Maybe we could do the "girly" things that was suggested a few months back.

KHalstead-love the idea about things you are thankful for. That really lets everyone be creative, we could get some fun submissions.

This one is tough. I like fall/Thanksgiving. Maybe food items, that would go along with Thankfulness or giving.

I didn't even get to make halloween cookies yet. Maybe this weekend since it's suppose rain all day today.
I ordered a new cutter the other day can't wait till it comes. It's the teapot cutter, for my DD bday in Nov. Now for me to know how to decorate it.

how about election themed cookies....nov 4th is election day! i just saw some donkey/elephant cookie cutters online the other day but i don't remember what site they were on.

I think...Thanksgiving/Fall and Vererans ( military )

but its so hard to pick cause they are all good ideas...

hey we could always get an early jump on Christmas...lol

I like the idea of making cookies that reflect what we are thankful for....and of course, fall/thanksgiving cookies.

I like the idea of things we are thankful for and another one with it . The duel theme was great last month. I know i havent made any yet. But I will soon promise

Well, of course you have to have Thanksgiving theme for one, but you could do the dual theme again and go with Thanksgiving and Patriotism! That would be AWESOME!!!

What is the cookie club and what does one have to do to join?

It's a monthly theme-based club where anyone can bake cookies and post them for others to see. They have to follow the theme for the month though. You can just make cookies that are under the theme for November and then post them to the thread and you're in!

Thanks might give it a try if I can.

I think we'll give everyone one more day to post ideas for the November theme and I'll start the new thread tomorrow with the November theme/themes.

Thanksgiving ...I like the idea of cookies representing what you are thankful for. I also like the sports theme.
