Anyone know of a site that has larger quantities of these (like the Wilton ones)? I've checked instawares.com and they have larger ones and small ones (that are similar, but not quite the same).

TIA!!

have you ever used them before? I had to make 6oo cupcakes recently and I used the nut cups and I personally did not like them. Seems to me they don't hold as much batter. So it was like a little cake with ALOT of icing icon_smile.gif I love the way they look but I have gone back to the "old fashion" liners

i have used them before.
makes baking easy, you just line them up on a cookie sheet and back - no muffin pans needed BUT people especially kids had trouble with them, since you cant easily rip/pull back the liner.

ive seen on some blogs that people have ordered from the website below for large quantities. (i guess they are the same thing!)

i was looking for coffee cup sleeves. i saw some cupcakes done one time and they just slid them all into these decorated sleeves. i thought that might be a more upscale look that just a cupcake paper.
do they make those nut cups in other colors too??

I think I read somewhere that you can snip the thicker rolled edge of the cup and it will be easier to open. I've had to show several people how to open them before eating! You can tie ribbons around them, or make paper rings that go around them to decorate. I haven't seen them in colors.

I use them all the time. They do make nice little cakes and are fine for cupcakes, too. I bought mine at Smart and Final. 250 for about $4.00 or so. They come in various sizes you can do larger or smaller ones depending on your need. Here is a link to a post I did concerning how to open them in case you are interested. I have just never liked regular cupcake liners myself but that's just me.

I, too, saw a site that had really neat little wrappers around the cakes, but for the life of me I can't remember where I saw it.

This website has a ton of colors, such as brown, green, blue, etc. http://www.confectioneryhouse.com/search.php?mode=search&page=4

And here's a good laugh...each cupcake liner is $1.00 a piece! http://www.paperorchidstationery.com/modules/cart/navigate.php?keys=cupcake

Oh man... I love all those colors, but they want almost four dollars for 40 liners!?!?! Are they kidding? Plus shipping! E-gad I'll stick with the white ones that I get like a thousand of them for 5 bucks!! (I'm so cheap... sad!) Ok, I have a ton of the fancier Wilton ones too!! I'm not THAT bad! icon_wink.gif

I use only the white ones, too, because I'm just as cheap as you Melvira.

But I love to browse online and fantasize about baking with the real pretty ones!
