The MANGAGER said it was only good for one Item. So I wrote a Email to the corporate office asking them to clearify the terms of the coupon. I got a Email back from corporate:
"We are sorry for any confusion on our weekly internet coupon. Our internet coupons that run (Wilton products, models, stretched canvas, model rockets, doll accessories etc...) are NOT limited to an amount UNLESS stated on the internet coupon itself. Our 40% off coupon is limited to one regular priced item per customer, per day. We apologize again for the confusion." HA HA HA I drove right back to the store contacted the manager showed her the Email. Luckly everything that I had to put back earlier was still up front so I checked out. Spent 50$ on Wilton stuff (GLUP) the most I've ever spent on this hobbie but hey what a deal, I guess now Im really going to have to make some good cakes LOL
So now if you go in and they give you trouble you can say you KNOW that its for ALL Wilton items not just one unless it specificly states on the coupon! HA HA HA HA It felt really good because I useally dont make a fuss and just end up getting screwed. I think I'm going to have to make a fuss more often ![]()

The last time they had one of these the cashier seemed to be a little confused. When he ask me which item I wanted to use it on I said everything. Told him the coupon didn't state it was only off one item and he didn't argue. Hopefully when I get there tomorrow I won't have any problem. Glad you got everything you wanted.. ![]()
It's sad b/c it's not really the cashier's fault - they are just trying to protect their own job and the company - but they DO really need to make the employees aware of how thier particular coupons work - b/c if I was an employee I'm sure I wouldn't believe you either...... and when I went in the first time w/ this coupon I said "I know it sounds too good to be true but I have an e-mail from your corporate office stating it is" - of course I didn't have it on me so they could have still thought I was lying..... unfortunately there are some bad scammers out there that are customers and stores and employees have to protect themselves too - it all boils down to the fact that they need to educate their employees so that neither the employee or the customer feels misled....

Thats why I ended up walking away the first time because I didnt have any proof and didnt want it to get ugly, no reason to be rude to her she was just doing her job. I've worked in customer service long enough to know what it feels like to be behind the counter. I was just happy to be right for a change

I got the last of some of the things, but I got them. Cashier told me it was for one item only, and I said, "no mam, it is for every item", and the cashier next to her told her that it was for all of the items. I was not rude at all, but she acted as though she had a little attitude after that. Oh well, I still got everything 1/2 off. ![]()
