Someone wants me to do a wedding cake and its in one of the wilton books but they didn't know for sure which one
its a 3 tier round with ribbon around the middle sections of the cake
its a thin ribbon with a simple bow tied
she thinks the name of the cake may start with a 'Q" or "Qu"
if anyone can help that would be great
thanks in advance

I noticed your post got buried. Here's a bump for you.

I'm sorry I won't be much help, but the only thing I can think of is Quinceniera (not sure that's spelled right) - which is a celebration cake, usually for Latino girls turning 15. Each Wilton book has at least one Quinceniera cake.

You can look up the Wilton Website

http://www.wilton.com/recipes/browse.cfm

They have themed cakes, only problem you to open up each title.

I will check the books from the last 3 years. To see if I can find it.

Good Luck.

I have 3 books, 2006, 07 and 08 and none of those have such a simple cake, they have some that are close but with a large bow on top or extra decorations on or around the ribbons. If you think it's part of these, let me know I will looks up some of the names for you. None of them had a Q name so unless it's like beachcakes said and it's Quinc... cake, let us know.
