Well, if you were someplace fun I might try to convince dh that I needed to go (but I somehow doubt he'd buy it!
)
I know there are a lot of steps but it was surprisingly simple. Of course I was the one watching, not actually doing it, but I could do it with the directions. So you shouldn't have any trouble. ![]()
You are awesome!
I was one cake away from throwing that level in front of a moving bus. Frustrated, I went to Home Depot yesterday with my wilton level in hand trying to find a replacement blade.
I walked away empty handed because there were no blades that long that would work.......but now here is the answer.
THANKS!!!!!!!
Thank you thank you thanks you!!!!!! When I bought mine I was so made that I wasted the money, I had a better results doing it by hand. I will try this method! and did I say thanks you!!!!! ![]()

Maybe I don't have problems because I use the seran wrap method for cooling my cakes, and my cakes are soft (no hard edges)?
Hi could you expand on the 'saran wrap' method and how you get your cake edges soft??!
I was using my small leveler yesterday and it works good but my cake edges are hard and the wire makes a bit of a mess of the sides, I was wondering how to get soft cake edges?!
Thx
