Well, Paris is the home of some of the most famous places in the world. They have the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedriel (sp?), the Moulin Rouge, and many more that I'm forgetting.

I like the Moulin Rouge idea. You could do a stacked cake in white bc or fondant. Then you could do the building with the windmill in fondant or gumpaste and put it on the top tier. I think the building is red, but it would look good with silver luster dust painted on it. Maybe you could also make a couple of the dancers with little black outfits on.

I'm not sure if your customer would go for something that is a little risque like the Moulin Rouge, but I hope I helped! There's all kinds of wonderful things you could do with this cake! Good luck!

Hi there. I recently did a decorating job for a Paris themed fund-raiser. What about a three tiered cake, ivory/white bc or fondant, with black "nightscape" skyline cut out of fondant around the base(s)? Add some l"widows" (cut outs), some luster dust, and voila! Midnight in Paris! Elegant, but simple, too. Maybe just a little black fondant Eiffel tower on the top? This one should be fun......I used some props from Stumps Prom.com, you can check out their website for some Paris night themes for inspiration. Classic is cool.
