So I followed the instructions that I saw on here earlier tonite about how to make the "Chocolate Leaves" (as seen in the Thanksgiving Cakes section).

It came out great, BUT.... The chocolate melts as soon as my fingers touch it! How can I peel the real leaf off the chocolate w/o the chocolate melting? Any suggestions? I tried one leaf just to practice because I'm not using them on a cake until the end of November for Thanksgiving & DH's birthday.

HELP PLEASE!!!

It sounds like the chocolate needs to be a bit thicker. I would put another coat of chocolate on the leaf before trying to remove the real leaf. Also, you can chill them some which will help pevent melting. And, you could use gloves.
