Last week I posted a thread about how my husband had lost his job back in February and we were really beginning to struggle and the job search was not going so well...

LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!! Finally...
Friday I was searching the web as I had been doing daily and came across an ad that fit his expertise. I gave him the number, he called, the guy took a brief history and asked hubby to come in NOW and fill out ap. Hubby went in, filled out ap, took a test and guy thought he was a great fit, just needed to talk to the guys accountant (my hubby would be doing accounting). He talked to him Monday and yesterday (tues) he found out he had the job and started this morning already!! What a blessing this is as we received the last umeployment check Saturday and our savings is drained!!
We are excited! More $$ than he was making before and full medical coverage (huge for us...hubby is diabetic, both sons have asthma, all three kids have severe food allergies, etc...).
Thanks to all of you who offered advice and words of comfort...JoAnnB, Doug, MKerton, jsmith, michellenj, and indydebi...you truly helped me through a low point! May the Lord bless you.
Jodie
I'm so glad it worked out for you. Congratulations!!!! It's so awesome that he was able to start right away, so there won't be a paycheck gap.
Jodie, how wonderful!! Just when you think you've reached the end of your rope, God brings you more rope! ![]()
Oh my gosh what a stressful time. Sooooooooooo glad to hear about the great job and things are looking up now. Congrats to your family, it's all going to be alright now. (what a load off your mind having med. ins. now)

Thanks everyone!! We are so happy! It's amazing to me how when things seem at their lowest, a perfect solution is right around the corner. The Good Lord has answered our prayers!
Now that it's behind us it's easy to realize what a blessing it was. No longer is my hubby working somewhere that was negatively impacting his health, but we had a wonderful six months as a family. Not many people get that!
It's funny, he was job searching for 6 months, and when the last unemployment check was in the mail was when he finally found the job. Guess it was meant for him to be home with us!
Thanks again! Jodie
Funny how things work out. God has his plans, doesn't he? (daddy/family bonding?) Again, happy for you all, Jodie.
