How do I get theses stupid barcode stickers off my cutters. The paper has come off leaving behind this sticky gunk behind. I am sure you brilliant CCers will have a remedy! icon_biggrin.gif TIA

rubbing alcohol works well to, expecially if you have the little alcohol pads around, they are awesome for getting rid of sticker residue

Eucalyptus oil is brilliant - but make sure you wash the cutter well in hot soapy water after - the oil is poisonous.

I use nail polish remover (even on plastic).

I'm glad to see that this bothers others also. icon_biggrin.gif

It drives me nuts! It's the first thing I do when I bring new cutters home.

I use goo gone also.

Why can't they use a more friendly glue? I know it's out there.

We use peanut butter...stickers, price tags, even duct tape residue is no match for peanut butter in our house!

And, it's SAFE to use on your cookie cutters!

Cold cream (yes, the make-up remover) works well. Or, you can use olive or vegetable oil. Basically any type of oil-based product that is safe. Sometimes I find that alcohol and nail polish remover doesn't do the trick alone. I use alcohol after the cold cream as a last measure.

nail polish remover works great. I also use a blow dryer to remove stickers. It melts the adhesive and you can peel it right off.
